Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Arizona. This is a 13-week contract position in the PACU and Pre-op settings, requiring quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage PACU patients, administer medications, and collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe patient recovery with 3–4 call shifts every 4 weeks. Travel experience is highly preferred and licensing is verified.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months PACU experience, with last 12 months of experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel RN experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be working primarily in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), providing care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. The role demands quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment and includes responsibilities in both Pre-op and PACU settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of PACU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
