Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a skilled PACU RN for a 13-week contract in Washington. The role covers Pre-Op, PACU and Phase II care in a busy facility, with a block schedule of 4x10-hour shifts (days or nights).

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of PACU experience, an active RN license (compact preferred), and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. Epic charting experience is a plus, and travel reimbursement with housing allowances may be offered.

Schedule

Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) or Night Shift: 4x10-Hour (21:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PACU RN with experience in Pre-Op, PACU, and Phase II care. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive and professional care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and IV fluids as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and expectations.
• Float between units as required to meet patient and facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Pre-Op and PACU settings.
• Current RN license (compact license preferred).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required.
• Prior experience in trauma centers and knowledge of Epic charting system is preferred.
