Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call duties four days weekly. The unit has 10 beds, a staff of 8, and a 2:1 patient ratio.

Experience in orthopedic, neuro, GU, ENT, or gynecological surgeries is preferred. Candidates must hold an RN license and be eligible for BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in PACU or related unit.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Mon-Fri day shift, 8:00–16:00.
• On-call four days per week.

Responsabilités

• Provide post-anesthesia care in a 10-bed PACU.
• Monitor vitals, recover patients, and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with charge nurse and PACU team to maintain flow.
• Document care in the EMR and communicate changes to physicians.

Description:This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.The role involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.The nurse will be on call four days a week.The unit consists of 10 beds and has a staff of 8.During the day shift, there is 1 charge nurse and 6-7 nurses working per day.The patient ratio is 2:1.Equipment used includes glucometers and GE monitors, as well as bladder ultrasound technology.The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.Preferred skills include experience with orthopedic, neuro, GU, ENT, and gynecological procedures.Candidates must be team players and able to keep up in a busy unit.The dress code consists of blue scrubs.This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, enhancing nursing skills and experience.
