Job summary

Atlas MedStaff LLC. is seeking a seasoned PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Rancho Mirage, CA. You will care for patients from arrival through recovery, floating between pre-op and post-op areas and collaborating with a supportive team to ensure smooth transfers.

The ideal candidate has PACU or ICU experience, is proficient with EPIC, and holds an active California RN license. Expect 12-hour day shifts and a dynamic surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient with EPIC electronic health record.
• 12-hour day shift in a hospital PACU environment.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients from arrival in PACU to recovery and transfer.
• Float between pre-op and post-op areas to maintain flow.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure safe recoveries.

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse in Rancho Mirage, CA, where you’ll be an essential part of a fast-paced and rewarding recovery unit. This contract offers 12-hour day shifts that provide a perfect balance between work and personal time. Your experience in pre-op and PACU settings will shine here, as you’ll be responsible for caring for patients from the moment they arrive for surgery until they are safely recovered and ready to be transferred. The busy unit hosts a variety of procedures including orthopedic, neuro, bariatric, and many more—making each shift engaging and diverse. Expect to float between pre-op and post-op areas, ensuring smooth recoveries and quality care while collaborating with a supportive team.
