Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled RN for a 13-week PACU assignment in Rancho Mirage, CA. You will work three 12-hour night shifts Friday to Sunday, providing frontline pre-operative and postoperative care across diverse patient populations.

Requirements include a valid California RN license, 2+ years of ER/ICU/PACU experience, and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications. Travel implications include on-call duties with a 30-minute callback policy.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pre-Op and PACU settings.
• Minimum 2 years of ER, ICU, or PACU experience.
• Valid state nursing license and ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and PACU nursing care for pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Perform IV starts, airway assessment, and catheterization as needed.
• Assess and manage pain and administer medications per protocol.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and techs; participate in call rotations.
• Monitor patients with two to a nurse ratio and ensure recovery goals.
