Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Registered Nurse specialized in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to join a 13-week assignment in Columbia, SC. The role requires a SC license (or multi-state), ACLS, BLS, PALS, and at least 2 years of PACU/critical care experience.

You’ll work four 10-hour days, with on-call rotation and limited on-site transport duties. Epic charting experience is mandatory, and hurricane-season on-call may be required.

Responsibilities

Description:Position available for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).Shift consists of four 10-hour days with rotating on-call responsibilities.The position requires one late shift per week and one call weekend every six weeks.Travelers will not be required to float between units.All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission.The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks.There is no fee for parking, and a parking pass will be provided.Travelers need to be aware of hurricane season from June to November, during which emergency response duties may be assigned.Clinical skills should include end-tidal CO2 monitoring, airway assessment, and care of ventilated patients.Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.Strong knowledge of medication management and patient assessment necessary.The unit serves a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.Daily census ranges from 20 to 40 patients.Additional interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
