Job summary

Thalia Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor for overnight shifts to lead nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care. You will supervise nursing assistants and licensed staff, coordinate care with the healthcare team, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, vital signs, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Associate degree.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent staff training and customer service skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer medications and report adverse reactions.
• Educate patients on procedures and record medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action for adverse symptoms.
• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Change dressings, start IVs, and assist with discharge planning.
• Supervise nursing assistants and licensed staff.
• Record care information accurately in the proper forms.
