This role involves leading patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, ensuring quality outcomes, respecting diversity, and supporting strategic goals.

To succeed, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
