Job summary

VCU Health's Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Unit is seeking Clinical Nurse I–III to provide age-appropriate nursing care in a fast-paced surgical setting. You will participate in training for new graduates and rotate shifts, delivering medications and coordinating care with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible/compact state.
• Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, age-specific nursing care per medical orders.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and monitor for interactions.
• Deliver education and leadership within the unit and support new graduates.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
