University of Washington's UW Medical Center Northwest in Seattle is hiring Registered Nurses for our Orthopedic/Neurosurgery unit (1E Surgical). We offer 3x12 shifts including night, day, or rotating schedules, with weekend rotations, and a 43-bed unit providing telemetry and general care.

Join a close-knit team delivering life-changing patient care. We seek both new and experienced RNs; BLS and WA RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Active WA Registered Nurse licensure or equivalent acceptable per state law.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside physicians and surgeons in a medical-surgical hospital setting
• Perform musculoskeletal health exams
• Support pre-operative patients
• Administer and monitor pain medication
• Treat injuries with wound dressing or casting
• Help post-surgical patient increase their mobility
• Accurately document patient care outcomes in Epic
