Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings and to coordinate care as needed. This casual position requires at least 2 shifts per month, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays and variable day shift hours.

The role emphasizes a systematic nursing process, adherence to the Nurse Practice Act, and compliance with internal policies. A BSN and Minnesota RN license are required, along with BLS certification; familiarity with EMR

Position Summary

Patient care may be a direct activity of the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy. Previous experience preferred in the designated area.

Work Schedule

casual position, minimum requirement 2 shifts a month, Monday thru Friday, no weekends, no holidays. Varying day shift hours.

Required Qualifications

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • BSN / Baccalaureate degree in nursing
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
  • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Personal Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Printer, and electronic medical record.
• This position requires familiarity and compliance with matters of law, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, discrimination, and harassment laws).
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
