Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage is seeking an experienced RN for the Orthopedics/Neuro unit to provide direct patient care during night shifts. You will develop individualized care plans, assess patients, and respond to evolving conditions while collaborating with physicians and the care team.

Formación

• Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse License
• BLS or BCLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Ortho/Neuro experience preferred
• Articulate nursing theory and practice per department needs
• Certified Ortho/Neuro Nurse preferred

Responsabilidades

• Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient’s condition and diagnostic results.
• Perform nursing duties in the orthopedics continuum of care.
• Participate in department process improvement activities.
• Maintain professional composure under pressure.
