Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Ortho Trauma team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. Assessing patients, documenting care, and coordinating with providers are key components of the role.

You will administer medications, monitor therapeutic responses, educate patients and families, and ensure excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license valid in GA or compact state.
• ASN or BSN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes timely.
• Administer medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt patient care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up.
