Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Ortho Specialty Unit at St Francis Medical Center. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced Med-Surg setting, coordinating with a diverse care team, and implementing patient care plans to improve outcomes.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred) and at least 1 year of RN experience; state RN licensure and BLS are expected, ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS. Sign-on bonus may apply for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience (required).
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS (preferred on hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, document and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely per Mercy Health policies.
