Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med-Surg at St. Francis Downtown. The role emphasizes strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and deliver high-quality medical and surgical care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required or preferred.
• Minimum one year RN experience is required.
• Six months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Current state RN licensure; BLS preferred, must obtain prior to direct patient care; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to plan and deliver patient care.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, document care, and assess patient status.
• Evaluate and update the plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Administer medications safely following state practice and Mercy Health policies.
• Provide and implement nursing interventions to support patient recovery.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
