Advocate Health Cabarrus Operating Room is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead the OR nursing team in Concord, NC. This full-time role supports the manager, oversees staffing on 12-hour shifts, and coordinates care delivery in a high-paced surgical environment.

The position requires BSN, RN licensure, and BLS; two years of nursing experience is preferred. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants, with opportunities for mentorship and ongoing professional growth.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• RN candidates without BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and complete within 3 years.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.
• Professional certification within 1 year of eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the manager utilizing systematic approaches to enhance nursing practice and delivery of care.
• Assists with interview, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel in the department.
• Coordinates communication via staff meetings/huddles to exchange information and promote dialogue.
• Ensures understanding and compliance with federal and state laws and department policies.
• Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to gauge satisfaction and care quality.
• Delegates care appropriately to staff.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and disseminates information to the team.
• Performs nursing care, treatments, therapies, and administers medications as needed.
• Manages patient flow/throughput and staffing based on volume and acuity.
