Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a specialty unit following standards and policies.
• Delegate tasks to ancillary staff and precept students or new hires.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care to optimize outcomes and resource use.
• Monitor patient status, document findings, and communicate changes to the team.
• Coordinate care across disciplines including disposition, referrals, and psychosocial needs.
