Job summary

HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital is seeking a RN OR Service Line Coordinator with expertise as a Certified Surgical Tech to lead our OR Tech team and ensure smooth Surgical Services operations.

The role emphasizes patient-focused care, collaboration with physicians, and initiatives to improve service line performance. Candidates should have surgical tech training and a strong background in surgical services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Surgical Tech program.
• Minimum 2 years in a surgical services department.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• CNOR preferred within 1 year of transfer/hire.
• Knowledge of Scrub and Circulate responsibilities, scheduling and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessments of the patient’s physical condition and nursing needs.
• Develop, implement and communicate patient’s plan of care with the patient.
• Set goals and take appropriate actions.
• Coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to determine patient needs.
• Assist with training of new team members.
• Troubleshoot OR metrics with Directors related to the service line.
• Coordinate service line workflow.
