Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate the OR Service Line and lead surgical services. The role emphasizes quality patient care, resource Utilization, and collaboration with physicians to meet patient needs.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida RN license, a nursing degree, BLS and ACLS within 6 months, and have at least two years in surgical services. CNOR is preferred; BSN is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Florida RN, compact license accepted; active FL RN within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required within 6 months.
• CNOR certification recommended.
• Minimum two years’ surgical services experience.
• Knowledge of scrub/circulating, OR duties, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Educate, consult, and facilitate the OR service line for quality care.
• Ensure resources, standards of care, and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate workflow to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with physicians to assess patient needs and supplies.
• Identify training opportunities and implement education programs.
• Coordinate service line workflow across teams.
