Job summary

Slocum Orthopedics seeks an experienced Operating Room Nurse to support perioperative care in the ASC. The role focuses on circulating duties, patient safety, and teamwork within the OR suite.

Ideal candidates will be a graduate nurse licensed in Oregon with BLS, ACLS within 3 months, and orthopedic/outpatient surgery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Oregon nursing license.
• AHA BLS required, ACLS required within 3 months of hire.
• Orthopedic and outpatient surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert, professional nursing care to surgical patients during perioperative visit.
• Works collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Assumes the role of Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room.
