Job summary

New Hope Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cedar Park, Texas is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join us as Charge Nurse on the day shift. You will provide direct patient care, oversee nursing assistants, and ensure residents receive high-quality, coordinated care.

This position requires graduation from a state-approved nursing program and an active RN or LVN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved school of vocational or professional nursing.
• Current state license as an RN or LVN.
• Minimum of 0 years of nursing experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team to deliver care to residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants to ensure residents receive necessary care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other caregivers to provide coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to continuously improve care quality.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies including patient confidentiality and rights.
