Job summary

New Hope Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cedar Park, Texas, is seeking a compassionate RN or LVN to join our team as Charge Nurse for the 2pm-10pm shift. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications and treatments, supervise nursing assistants, and coordinate daily nursing operations to ensure residents receive high-quality care.

Applicants must be a graduate of a state-approved nursing program and hold an active RN or LVN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved school of vocational or professional nursing.
• Current state license as a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse in Texas.
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants to ensure residents receive necessary care and attention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to continuously improve the quality of care.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies including patient confidentiality and rights.
