Job summary

Legacy Healthcare LLC in South Dakota, Redfield, seeks an RN or LPN Unit Manager to lead nursing care on the assigned unit and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and operation to ensure guests receive quality care 24 hours a day.

You will help with staffing needs, including filling in as a floor nurse and coordinating breaks for floor nurses and CNAs to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN with Unit Manager responsibilities.

• Ensure adequate staffing on the assigned unit at all times including filling in as a floor Nurse and coordinating floor Nurse and CNA breaks.

Job description

In keeping with our organization's goal of improving the lives of the Guests we serve, the RN or LPN Unit Manager plays a critical role in providing superior customer service and nursing services to all Guests on the assigned unit as well as in the facility as a whole. The Unit Manager assists the Director of Nursing (D.O.N) in the planning, development and overall operation of the assigned unit, which ensures Guests receive quality care 24 hours a day.

Assists with staffing to ensure Guest needs and regulatory requirements are met at all times. Responsible to ensure adequate staffing on the assigned unit at all times including but not limited to filling in as a floor Nurse and coordinating floor Nurse and C.N.A. breaks.
