Job summary

Sanford Health, a leading health system, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will administer medications, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and document resident care while maintaining confidentiality and quality standards.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an LPN license; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If IV therapy/management skills are required, North Dakota requires IV therapy training or course.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.
• Current unencumbered LPN license with state board or multi-state licensure; maintain competencies and CEU requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision of a RN, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document interactions and outcomes.
• Support interdisciplinary care team, maintain confidentiality, counsel residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification

Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
