Job summary

Athena Health Care Systems’ Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care under RN supervision and support nursing assistants. The role includes ensuring resident care plans are followed and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus with shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Massachusetts LPN license or in process.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident, maintaining current resident care plans.
• Follow physician's orders, transcribe orders promptly and accurately, and review patient records daily.
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes, administer medication according to procedure, and maintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs.
• Demonstrate correct safety techniques, respect facility equipment, and contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions.
• Comply with facility Privacy Practices Policies & Procedures, protecting residents' individual health information.

As an LPN with our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents while working closely with our experienced team of healthcare professionals.

Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus available!*

Full-time and part-time openings.

$37 to $40 an hour, including differentials, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. Weekly pay.
