The Emily Program in Dunwoody, GA is seeking an experienced nurse to provide holistic care as part of an interdisciplinary team for clients with eating disorders and co-morbid conditions in an inpatient setting.

Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend, in-person location at 41 Perimeter Center East. LPN or RN license in GA, 2+ years clinical experience, and BLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Georgia LPN/RN license (or compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification within 30 days.
• Experience or strong desire in mental health setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide holistic nursing care within an interdisciplinary team.
• Assess, monitor, and address health concerns appropriately.
• Manage medications in inpatient/ residential care with providers.
• Support medical and psychiatric providers with coordination.
• Coordinate care between patient, provider, staff, family, and external agencies.
• Serve as a resource for client medical needs and information.

Position Overview

Nurses provide holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients with Eating Disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient higher level of care (HLOC) setting.

Schedules

• Full Time (36 hours per week)
• Every other weekend rotation (Saturday and Sunday)

Shifts

• Night Shift (7:00 pm-7:30 am)

Compensation Disclosure

• LPN Starting hourly range between $30-$35
• RN Starting hourly range between $39-42

Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position

How Nurses Empower Recovery

• Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
• Provides medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the inpatient and residential setting only, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
• Assists and supports medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
• Provides medical care coordination between patient, provider, staff, family and outside care agencies as needed
• Serves as a staff resource for client medical needs and information
• Partners with the treatment team to create the appropriate treatment plan for each client

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN or RN in Georgia or a compact license
• 2 years minimum clinical experience required
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
• Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
• Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting
