Position Details

• Position: Full-time
• Schedule: 5AM-5PM, every other holiday and every 4th weekend rotation

Join the Hills & Dales Child Development Center team as a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Dubuque, IA! Enjoy a competitive pay of $27.70 per hour, a 3-day work week, and a supportive environment dedicated to building meaningful lives for children with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care by monitoring health, implementing interventions, and documenting observations.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain care plans.
• Coordinate with staff, pharmacies, and medical appointments.
• Supervise Certified Medication Aides and educate staff on healthcare responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current LPN certification.
• At least one year of nursing experience, preferably with the target population.
• CPR certification and Mandatory Reporter training.
• Ability to maintain QBS certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and advocacy commitment.
