Job summary

Adams Medical Group - Surgery in Decatur, IN is seeking an RN or LPN to provide essential patient care and support under a provider's direction. The role includes preparing patients for exams, administering medications, wound care, and assisting in minor surgeries.

Responsibilities also include triaging nurse calls, maintaining patient records, sterilizing instruments, and managing supplies. BLS/CPR certification is required, with hours 36 per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

Description

The RN or LPN in a medical office provides essential patient care and support under the direction of a provider, including preparing patients for examinations, administering medications and injections, dressing wounds, and assisting in minor surgeries. Responsibilities also encompass triaging incoming calls requiring nurse assessment, maintaining accurate patient records, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, managing supply inventory, conducting laboratory tests, recording electrocardiograms, and performing secretarial duties as needed. This role requires a balance of clinical skill and administrative support to ensure efficient patient care and office operations.

Requirements:

36 hours per week - First Shift

Valid RN or LPN license in the State of Indiana
