Job summary
AdventHealth Parker is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Day shift in Colorado. The role focuses on comprehensive patient assessments, collaborative care planning, medication administration, and ongoing progress monitoring within a high-acuity surgical setting.
The ideal candidate holds an RN license with BLS, an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and at least one year of OR experience.
Qualifications
- RN license with BLS required.
- Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
- 1 year of surgical experience (OR) required.
- Proficient in English; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- EMR charting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment, procedures, and sterilization policies.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient care activities meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
