Job summary

Upper Bay Surgery Center is hiring a full-time RN Operating Room Circulator to provide nursing care for patients undergoing operative procedures. The role includes care for adults, geriatrics, and children 8 years and older across Ortho, Spine, Podiatry, General, Pain Management and Surgical Dermatology.

Requirements include Maryland RN license, two years OR experience, CPR/ACLS/PALS certification, and strong independent work and prioritization skills. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum two years previous OR experience.
• Current Maryland license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing activities for care of patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
• Care for adult patients incl. geriatric and pediatric patients 8+.
• Support OR services including Ortho, Spine, Podiatry, General, Pain Management and Dermatology.
