Job summary

Orthopaedic South Surgical Center is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Circulator for PRN coverage. You will position, prep, and circulate during cases, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique in orthopedic procedures.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 1 year of OR circulator experience. The role supports anesthesia teams and requires sound nursing judgment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• The Circulating RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Positions and preps the patient and circulates the case.
• Performs duties with expertise in surgical procedures in the center's specialties.
