Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital seeks an OR Registered Nurse to support the surgical team before, during and after procedures. The OR RN maintains an aseptic environment and anticipates the needs of the team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. This position includes rotating call on weekends (2 out of 6) and offers a discretionary $30,000 sign-on bonus.

Required: Montana RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program. Circulating/PACU experience preferred.

About the role

$30,000 Discretionary Sign-On BonusUnder the supervision of the Operating Room Supervisor, the OR RN maintains the health and welfare of a patient before, during and after the surgical procedure. Through assessment of the patient and procedures, the OR RN anticipates the needs of the surgical team and provides such services while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment. The OR RN is a self-motivated professional and resource person who supports the mission and nursing philosophy of Northern Montana Health Care. Rotational call including weekends, 2 out of 6, is required.

Qualifications

Graduation of an accredited school of nursingCurrently licensed to practice professional nursing by the Montana State Board of Nursing; and have a general knowledge of providing care to patients covering ages infant to geriatric.Circulating/PACU experience preferred.Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Salary commensurate with up to 15 years of experience.Health, dental, life, disability insurance and FLEX/HSA benefits available with 403-b option.
