Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital in Havre, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the medical team in delivering high-quality care across our 24/7 ED and inpatient units.

The RN will assist providers, educate patients, and help run an efficient department, with patient ages spanning from adults to obstetric cases. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold Montana RN licensure.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Montana State Board RN license required.
  • Minimum of one year MedSurg experience.
  • ACLS certification within 1 year of employment.
  • PALS certification preferred.
  • Background check and drug screen required.

The not-for-profit, 25-bed Critical Access Hospital features a 24-hour physician-staffed emergency department, with state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and electronic medical record services. Our large, quiet labor/birthing rooms are private and located away from other patient care areas. The private patient rooms on the 5th floor Medical/Surgical Department boast views from every window.

About the role

$30,000 Discretionary Sign-On Bonus

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting the medical provider in the delivery of medical care, assistance to the patient in compliance with and understanding of that care, and assistance in running an efficient and professional department. The registered nurse should be a self-motivated professional and resourceful person. They will be accountable for the planning, directing and evaluation of patient care. The Registered Nurse will have knowledge relative to the ages of the patients served.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Registered nurse currently licensed to practice professional nursing by the Montana State Board.
  • Minimum of one (1) year MedSurg experience.
  • Completion of ACLS Course within one (1) year of employment.
  • PALS certification preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
  • Health, dental, life, and FLEX/HSA benefits available with 403-b option.
  • Salary is commensurate with up to 15 years of experience.
