Job summary

A healthcare provider in North Carolina is seeking an experienced OR Circulating Nurse for their Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will possess a current NC RN license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of operating room experience. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of operating room nursing experience is required.
• Working knowledge and experience in a hospital or ASC operating room.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transport.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family understanding of surgical procedures and provide perioperative education.
• Perform preoperative patient assessments and prepare equipment/supplies.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Ensure operating suites are clean, stocked, and properly maintained.
• Document patient care and perioperative processes accurately.
