Job summary

Cynet Health in Sterling, VA seeks an experienced OR RN for a 13-week assignment in the Operating Room. You will scrub and assist in a busy unit with 7 ORs, supporting orthopedic, spine, urology, and robotic cases.

Candidates should have a valid RN license, at least 2 years OR experience, and be comfortable with DaVinci robotic systems. Shifts are 10 hours, with weekend on-call and rotating nights as described.

Description:This position is in the Operating Room unit.The unit consists of 7 operating rooms and has 8 staff members.The staff works either 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with weekend on-call requirements.Call requirements involve 3 weekend days (24 hours) per 6-week period and 3 nights from 15:30-07:00 per week.Patient ratios vary on the unit.All staff must have experience with OR equipment and EMR systems.Candidates with a strong background in scrubbing for orthopedic and spine cases as well as general and urology procedures will be prioritized.Experience with robotic systems, specifically DaVinci, is preferred.Common procedures performed include total joints, spine surgeries, and robotic-assisted urology.The ideal candidate is a team player and displays a friendly demeanor.The dress code includes green scrubs.Standards of behavior will be provided upon arrival.
