Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Travel RN for a PACU unit in Texas. This 13-week assignment requires a Day shift with a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM schedule and on-call duties every 3–4 weekends and one weekday per week.

Ideal candidates have active RN licensure, a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, and PACU exposure. ACLS is preferred. The unit supports orthopedic, sports, joint, and general surgeries with EMR/Meditech documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS preferred.
• PACU experience greater than 2 years is required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in OR/PACU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide PACU nursing care for post-anesthesia patients.
• Coordinate patient handoffs and on-call duties every 3–4 weekends and one weekday per week.
• Collaborate with OR team to ensure patient safety and timely throughput.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (Meditech).
