Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room for a 13-week position.The schedule includes day shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week.The role involves on-call requirements, including one full weekend each month and two weekdays per month.Holidays are required as per the department’s schedule.The nursing unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with a daily census of approximately 33.The unit is equipped with 11 operating rooms and has a supportive interdisciplinary team.Candidates must be proficient in various surgical procedures, including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, appendectomies, and orthopedic surgeries.Experience with the charting system is necessary and candidates should be familiar with infection control practices.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.The position requires a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.Candidates must complete relevant training and orientation as required for the position.
