Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN in the Operating Room for a 13-week assignment. The role involves scrubbing and circulating duties for operative procedures, preparing the OR, assembling equipment, and coordinating intraoperative care with the team.

Requirements include current RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a minimum of 3 years OR experience. Trauma experience is required; NLN-approved RN program is highly desired. On-call trauma coverage and holiday shifts may be required.

Description:The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures.This role includes department admissions to the operative suite.The nurse adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques.Consultation and coordination with team members are essential to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and members of the operating team.Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure.Assembles equipment and supplies, ensuring equipment is functional and supplies/implants are available.On-call variation is required to provide trauma coverage as needed.Call shifts will vary depending on staffing and PTO.Holiday call may be required for specific holidays.
