Cynet Health is seeking a registered nurse for the operating room in Houston for a 13-week assignment. The OR RN will support specialty cases and collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.

Candidates must have active RN license, BLS, CST, and at least 1 year of OR experience, with skills across general, robotic, colorectal, neuro spine, orthopedic, and urology procedures. Weekend on-call and 24-hour coverage may be required.

Description:The operating room consists of 8 operating rooms.There are 13 registered nurses and 10 scrub techs staff members.The day shift includes 8 registered nurses and 8 scrub techs.The operating room operates from 07:30 to 17:00.The patient ratio is 1:1.The electronic medical record system used is Meditech ORM.The ideal candidates should be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.Candidates with preferred skills will be considered first.Artificial nails, dips, gels, etc. are not permitted.Weekends are covered by on-call duty, with 24-hour coverage on Saturday and Sunday.Call shifts during the week begin at the end of the regular shift.On-call responsibilities require 1 registered nurse and 1 scrub tech available from 17:00 to 07:00, and on weekends from 07:00 to 07:00.Shift ends at 17:00, with on-call starting immediately after.The ability to respond quickly is essential, with a 45-minute response time for on-call duties.
