Description:Travel experience is required for this position.The position will require floating between units based on needs.On-call will be required for 100 hours in a 4-week schedule.Weekends will also be required for on-call standby.There are no block schedules required for this position.The patient care ratios are expected to be 1:1.Special requirements include a proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures.Candidates must be able to circulate in all specialties offered, including orthopedic, spine, general, GYN, and some plastics.No cardiovascular surgeries will be performed.The unit consists of 6 OR suites.The majority of surgeries performed will be orthopedic and spine related, including total joints, arthroscopic surgeries, and spine fusions.Candidates should possess strong skills in scrub and circulating roles within the OR.Candidates must have experience with equipment typical of surgical procedures.Strong communication skills and flexibility are essential for this role.Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.Inflexibility beyond the contracted schedule may lead to termination.Providers may be required to have communication devices provided for work duties.
