Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an RN for a 13-week CVOR assignment in Knoxville. The position requires circulating and providing conscious sedation in a cardiovascular OR and ongoing availability for call duties.

Active RN license and at least 2 years CVOR experience are required, with ACLS/BLS; NIHSS optional after acceptance. Expect potential float to other surgical services as scheduling permits.

Description:

The ideal candidate will work in a cardiovascular operating room setting.They will be responsible for circulating and providing conscious sedation.Experience in CVOR cases is essential.Call duty will be required three to four nights per week and every other weekend.Holiday rotation is also necessary.The unit handles a variety of patient cases, including open-heart procedures.Candidates should be comfortable with a patient ratio of 1:1.The daily census is approximately 1-5 cases per day.Interdisciplinary support from various services is available.The role includes participation in special procedures such as CABG, valve repair, and thoracic cases.EKG testing must be administered and passed prior to acceptance.Floating to other surgical disciplines may occur depending on scheduling needs.Emergency response and infection control measures are part of the responsibilities.Familiarity with cerner charting is preferred but not required.
