Description:The unit performs 16-18 cases per day.The schedule for the day shift typically starts between 0600 and 1000.Flexibility for 8- or 10-hour shifts may be required.Call rotation may be necessary as needs arise, and will be discussed with the team.Clinicians need to demonstrate reliability and commitment to attendance.Experience with a variety of cases is preferred, including orthopedics, ENT, eye surgery, general surgery/bariatric, podiatry, GI-endoscopy, gynecology, and urology.Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is beneficial.Focus on time management is essential due to quick turnover rates.Scrubs will be provided for the role.The position includes both adult and pediatric cases.Experience with minimally invasive surgery techniques is a plus.Expectations include knowledge of circulating procedures and the desire to scrub when needed.All nurses are expected to be team players and contribute positively to the work environment.Technicians will assist with instrument management on weekends, decontamination, and pack preparation.Candidates must have experience and competency in performing ERCP procedures.The role includes call responsibilities every fourth weekend and one weekday with a return time of 30 minutes.No robotic surgery experience is required, but familiarity with the necessary systems is advantageous.This position requires a clinician who can quickly adapt and work efficiently within a fast-paced surgical environment.
