Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an OR RN to provide comprehensive perioperative care in a busy operating room. The role requires trauma and circulating experience, with a minimum of three years of nursing experience and strict adherence to OR safety standards.

You will participate in pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care, maintain 1:1 patient ratios, and be on-call for 24–36 hours monthly. Holiday bundles coverage is required for this assignment.

Description:The role requires experience in trauma and neuro care.The operating room nurse will be responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.Must be able to manage a patient ratio of 1:1.The nurse will be required to be on-call for 24-36 hours per month.The contract guarantees 36 hours per week, with the facility allowed to call off up to three times during the length of the assignment.This position requires familiarity with various surgical procedures and competencies related to operating room safety and patient care.No local candidates will be accepted within a 100-mile radius.COVID vaccine is optional, though reporting of vaccination status is required.Flu vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions only.The nurse must possess skills in multiple surgical procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal and gynecological surgeries.The OR environment requires adherence to universal protocol and safety standards.Additional skills in trauma, neuro, and cardiovascular nursing would be beneficial for this role.
