Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night-shift assignment in the OR. The ideal candidate has 3 years of OR RN experience, with strong trauma, general, neuro, orthopedics, vascular, and thoracic procedure backgrounds.

Experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Level 1 Trauma Center exposure are required, and candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility. Travel acceptance is allowed for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Operating Room RN experience required.
• Strong experience in Trauma, General, Neuro, Ortho, Vascular and Thoracic procedures.
• Neuro procedures include Craniotomy, ALIF, Cervical fusions, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar fusion and XLIF.
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is required.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience is required.
• First-time travelers are accepted if all other requirements are met.
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Work night shifts (10 hours) across multiple service lines.
• Manage diverse surgical cases independently.
• Participate in call coverage (about one weekend per month).
• Step in as Charge Nurse when needed.

• Neuro experience in ALIF, Anterior Cervical Fusion, Cervical Fusions, Craniotomy, Insertion of VP Shunt, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, and XLIF.
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System is required.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience is required.
• First-time travelers are accepted, provided all other requirements are met.
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.

Description:The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work night shifts consisting of 10 hours.This position requires strong skills in multiple areas including Trauma, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery.Candidates should be prepared to manage various surgical cases independently across different services.Participation in call coverage is required, approximately one weekend per month.RNs must have the ability to step in as Charge Nurse when needed.Night shift nurses will need experience in all service lines as they may be required to handle diverse cases.Candidates must have substantial experience, particularly in Neuro procedures such as Craniotomy and use of the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.All other qualifications must be met at the time of application.
