Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource person in dealing with complex or complicated patients.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care.
• Facilitate patient flow and ensure resources are utilized appropriately and cost-effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures of the facility and regulatory requirements.
• Make administrative decisions and notify the administrator on call, Legal Dept, and/or Risk Management when appropriate.
