Job summary

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Has authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the administrator on call, Legal Dept and/or Risk Management when appropriate. (30%)
• Serves as a resource person in dealing with complex or complicated patients. Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care. (30%)
• Facilitates patient flow, identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care, ensures resources are utilized appropriately and in a cost effective manner. (20%)
• Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures of the facility and with all regulatory requirements. (20%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC). 3 years recent nursing experience Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Previous management experience
