Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, seeks an Operations Administrator (RN) on a per diem basis to provide on-site leadership around the clock. The role serves as the administrative liaison for patients, families, staff, and external customers, coordinating operations and crisis response across departments.

Requirements include a BSN, 5 years of relevant experience with leadership, NC RN licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience with at least two years in a clinical setting.
• Current RN licensure in NC and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-site operational leadership, including weekends and holidays.
• Act as administrative liaison to patients, families, staff, and external customers.
• Coordinate operations to meet hospital objectives and allocate resources effectively.
• Oversee patient care flow and ensure timely communication across departments.
• Collaborate with clinical and support staff to deliver quality care.
• Lead crisis management and problem-solving for inter-/intra-departmental issues.
