Job summary

Activate Care is seeking an RN Manager to lead a distributed team of RN Supervisors across Massachusetts. You will drive supervision quality, standardize clinical practices, and ensure timely, complete assessments for dually eligible members.

You will oversee audit strategies, QA improvements, and ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance while coordinating with health plan leadership. Strong leadership and data-driven reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in MA in good standing with MA board.
• BSN is required.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience, including home health or community-based assessment work.
• Minimum 2 years supervising RN Supervisors or multi-team nursing operation.
• Experience developing supervisors as leaders and coaching the coach.
• Strong QA/audit program experience and ability to implement standardized audit processes.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, communication and reporting skills.
• Experience with GuidingCare or similar electronic platform; remote multi-team oversight.
• Experience conducting/auditing assessments (e.g., RAC-CT preferred).
• Prior experience with dual-eligible populations (Medicaid/Medicare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop RN Supervisors; set performance expectations and growth plans.
• Provide regular coaching, performance management, and field calibration activities.
• Ensure coverage plans during PTO/leave/turnover and maintain field safety standards.
• Partner on audit strategy; oversee pre-submission audits and SOAP notes across teams.
• Monitor documentation turnaround and quality against standards; intervene when needed.
• Aggregate error trends and drive corrective action plans and retraining.
• Escalate and resolve issues across teams ensuring timely resolution.
• Act as subject-matter expert on assessment processes, tools, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
