Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team on a 90% FTE schedule. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities; hours may shift based on department needs, and work is performed at East Madison Hospital.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care in the OR and coordinate activities to enhance efficiency and turnover between cases, contributing to a high standard of patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • 6 months of relevant clinical experience required.
  • Registration as a professional nurse in Wisconsin upon hire and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan for patient care in the Operating Room with a multidisciplinary team.
