Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to independently plan and provide high-quality nursing care to patients. You will follow physician orders, adhere to established guidelines, and operate within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements include GA RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred with 2 years of RN experience; additional life-support credentials are a plus. Work hours include early day shifts with rotating weekends and on-call duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Work Hours:

6:45AM-7:15PM
